PROJEECTS

Bachelor’s thesis
I conducted a comparative analysis of AI frameworks and architectures for time series prediction, evaluating their performance and complexity. The study focused on frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch and Prophet, as well as architectures like LSTMs, Transformers, and traditional statistical models. By benchmarking these approaches on datasets with varying complexity, I identified strengths and trade-offs—such as training efficiency, interpretability, and predictive accuracy. The findings provided insights into selecting the most effective tools for time series forecasting, depending on specific use cases and resource constraints.
Python-based web scraper
I developed a Python-based web scraper using Beautiful Soup to extract movie listings and showtimes from independent cinema websites for the Non-Stop Kino Abo project. The scraper automates the collection of up-to-date film schedules, ensuring users have real-time access to screenings at participating cinemas. By parsing HTML content and organizing the data, the tool simplifies the process of tracking films and enhances the user experience for cinema enthusiasts. This project allowed me to refine my skills in web scraping, data extraction, and automation.
Web CV
To present my professional experience in a modern and accessible format, I designed and implemented a web-based version of my CV using React/Tailwind CSS. This approach allowed me to create a clean, responsive, and visually appealing layout that highlights my skills, projects, and career journey, while beeing adaptable across devices. The project also showcased my ability to work with front-end technologies and attention to detail in design.
